Grandma is an aviator .......
but just doesn't know it yet. Landing without a hitch on the numbers, Captain Arthur gives a call from the hanger to Lillie. She received her invite to come and meet him at the field and excitedly accepted. The ten minute wait seemed like an hour to Arthur.He was hopefully going to take his grandma up in an airplane for the first time......and he was the CAPTAIN.
Would she accept? YOU BET !!!!
Lillie is airborne !
And tours the airspace seeing her house, friends, neighbors, and businesses. Her impression was everything looked so different from what she sees on the ground.
Returning to the airport there were deer on the runway. But her wild ride was over and Captain Arthur glided gently into his final approach and aced another flight and landing. Lillie was still giggling when she hugged Arthur and waved good-bye.
