US Air Force Museum
Dayton Ohio

On the road again ...this time to Dayton Ohio and the Wright-Patterson AFB.

In a group of hangers and a nearby runway you find mind bending examples of the Air Force history in the air.

The deep shadows of the hangers add emphasis and focus to the displays of fighters, bombers, and stealthy speedsters of the skies.

Stand beneath the open bombay of this behemoth of the skies and you find it hard to believe you could fill this cavern with bombs, then release it to do untold damages far below.

After WW II the civilians of Europe were also bombed with goods to assist in the recovery.

The dioramas help make this museum unique in the nation. Showing the early life scenes and the human side to military hardware is a great experience. The younger people really seemed to like this addition.
