A solemn walk, a quiet place of meditation. Walk through the mission and you find yourself talking in hushed tones and sense a reverence well beyond the many years of historical religious practice.
Reconstruction continues and most of the year the swallows are absent. School children visit and learn. Tourists are a bit surprised with the depth of the information that is available. Everyone spends more time visiting than they expected.
