Sandos Eats and Treats

(Italian, Mediterranean, Oriental, French, Brazilian and Mexican)

Don't forget the 24/7 room service!

The Italian  Restaurant

A buffet feast and it's not open every evening. Specialty entrees irresistible to the timeshare owners who call it home. Families adore the informal buffet and scamper from table to table. Children stretch to hand dip their ice cream main courses.  The little kids doze contentedly in their strollers while the parents relax.

Hot Entrees

Desserts

Chocolate cups filled with fruit and custards. Hand made pastries and cappuccino and espresso drinks. Mayan coffee is a bonus.

Mediterranean

The seafood restaurant is the main theme but there is  a chicken entre and a "surf and turf" on the menu also. If you are into shrimp this is the place to go. Try the lemon sorbet with vodka and give the kids banana splits if they are in the clean plate club.

Oriental

The chef is finally getting the hang of this cuisine. The breaded items are a bit heavy but the sauces are good and the selection is great.  Live on the edge. Eat oriental food in Mexico; you will love it.

Brazilian

Ten skewered meats are offered. If you like variety in a meal this is the place for you. This is a restaurant that has a salad bar and goulash soup. Try it, even with the limited menu you get a good portion and won't go away hungry.

French

Something for everyone. Of course shrimp and steak is on the menu. This is where the pork tenderloin, veal,  the duck, grouper and salmon hang out. Don't miss the baked Alaska.

Mexican

Need a fajita fix? Here's your restaurant....  plus lots of seafood selections like ceviche and tostados and enchiladas. From tortilla soup to three milk cake you'll find some special eat treats. The menu is not extensive but the ambiance is tops. It is located under the Riviera section lobby.

Steak House

(El Gaucho)

The steak house is one of the most popular of the restaurants. A perfect place to have that family gathering or celebrate a birthday with friends. Special tequila shots and festive Mexican hospitality.

The steak house has more than ten main courses, three vegetarian courses and seven potato choices. Plus there are three starters, eight sauces, eight garnishes, and five desserts to choose from. The menu is extensive with wines from nine countries. This restaurant is the kids choice and a family friendly atmosphere.

Kids menu includes hamburgers, grilled or fried chicken, fish fingers, spaghetti with tomato sauce, mac and cheese, and ham and cheese sandwiches.

Special Events

Celebrate your special day with the staff or choose a holiday theme through the year.  Dia de Muertos is typical Mexican with lobby, restaurant and common area displays.
