El Templo

Oriental

They had both a Japanese menu and a Chinese menu. You could order from either side and mix the courses. Wonderful variety.

The spring rolls (on left) and the shrimp tempura were our appetizer choices. Two sauces were provided. The tempura was a bit heavy/soggy/thick ...but the shrimp inside was fine. The spring rolls were fine also.

Shrimp Cantonese style was a bit of overkill as the main course. I should have picked something else to get away from that breading of the shrimp. In the center under the shrimp was white sticky rice and some vegetables. Also tried the beef tenpanyaki and it was satisfactory. We thought it would be cooked at the table but it was not.

The fried ice cream had the same breading so scooped out the ice cream and ate it with the fruit.
