El Gaucho
Steak House
Everyone seems to want to get reservations for the steak restaurant so I followed in step and spent as much time there as I could. Service and meat quality varied so don't be afraid to be a bit demanding if the steak is not "perfecto".
White linens and a lesson in napkin folding provided a light side to the evening while we had dessert.
At the beginning of the meal an appetizer plate was brought ...we decided it was fried baloney. We decided to wait for the entre.
Onion soup was a no brainer appetizer but was quite good.
The caesar salad was a hit with super dressing and parmesan cheese. The garnish was a bitter variety of leaf lettuce but the croutons were good and fresh.
Strip sirloin, T-bone, and porterhouse (L to R)
The rib eye (below) was least enjoyed.
I had mixed feelings on the steak but the grilled salmon was great.
There was too much selection to realize you might be missing something.
Skip the banana pie...head for the apples.
