Most all the rooms are the same except for a couple dozen standard rooms towards the back of the hotel and at least one suite with a jacuzzi.
In the room (4 bottles-Bacardi, Smirnoff, Jose Cuervo, and a scotch.) Mini fridge had mixes and water and was restocked usually every day.
Great size for the room. Even with a king size bed there is
plenty of room. There was iron, iron board, DVD player, coffee maker, hair
dryer, and the mini-fridge in the room. TV got many international channels but
no HDTV (Like in lobby and VIP lounge) There was no tub but a huge shower easily
useful for two. (It could have had a second set of shower heads for a bit of
luxury) Tele in the biffy. Clothesline. Good size closet. Switched ceiling fan
and thermostat that really worked. The deck had a hammock, table and two chairs.
(Air unit on the roof made vibrating noises detected during the night when all
was quiet) Electronic safe now so no more keys...yippee! Bed was pretty standard
for Mexico, hard but did the job. Hot shower water would vary in temperature(not
pressure) when used by other rooms. Not a lot of room to room noise noticed.
Shelves and closet were adequate for clothes. Cleanliness and maid service was
good but they seemed to like to get in the room late in the day...I guess they
combined the cleaning with the turn down service.
If you have a special event let them know. A birthday or anniversary just might get you a personal tequila cake surprise when you return to the room.
