Zander's 2nd Year 

January 2007

Winter is not fun but daddy said if I wore these big boots we could go out in the snow.

Then grandma took me outside to see the lights and it was really hard to walk and keep my balance. We had fun but I was cold. They gave me snow to hold in my hand for the first time.

February 2007

My uncle came to visit me and he had a great television just my size.

March 2007

St Patrick's Day, Mardi Gras, Playgrounds and lots of fun!

My jacket is getting smaller and when I run all these clothes really get in the way.

I can dance and my feet are happy. I love steps and pretend to be Superman when I step into space with NO FEAR.

Now that I am older I don't know if I want to be a pilot or a NASCAR driver.

April 2007

Another fun time at the park.

Now I can do those steps by myself and I don't have to wear that big heavy jacket.

Summer is coming.

Grandma tried to find me but I fooled her. There were a lot of fun places to hide and play.

May 2007

We did Mexican at Don Pablos.

Super food and I pretended to be a movie star in my St John's shirt and daddy's glasses.

June 2007

Daddy took us all to the zoo because Arthur was visiting us. I had a lot of fun watching the meerkats.

Grandma always looked where I pointed.

She helps me a lot and I have been spending time with her and playing in her yard.

July 2007

We spent lots of time outside in the yard and in the parks. We picked up sticks and put them in the fire ring. We relaxed and told stories and had Smores. It was a good month.

August 2007

My dad and I watch games on TV and I learned to hit the ball and run. I learned that it is normal to throw the bat after hitting the ball. We also learned about bubbles and swimming pools.

It was also when I was playing and fell off the bed. I had to wear a special green cast but it didn't slow me down very much.

September 2007

I learned to love baseball. I call it bat-bat ball.

I am a big helper and love to get vegetables from the garden. My uncle gave me the shirt that says "I do all my own stunts" and I do. I ride with dad on the mower and spent lots of time with Grandma Sandy. This month I get to go to the St John's football games. "Go Johnnies!"

And when Great Grandma came back from Germany we got a chance to play and drive her van. She lets me put the keys in the ignition.

October 2007

We discovered warm water and bubble baths but at Halloween I was a pirate. Arrrgh!

November 2007

My uncle and his fiance came to visit and we had a great time. We went for a walk, had dinner and even rode in our new car. I think I am going to like my new aunt, she's very special.

December 2007

We went to Indiana to visit for Christmas. We played and had lots of fun. We made a snow bear and shopped in the mall. I also got to ride the big train just like in my game.

At the end of the trip I was sick and did not feel like playing or eating.
