The shadows lengthen and winter comes fast and hard. Transportation becomes more difficult and all seem to take it in stride. The streets may not be plowed. Certainly the snow doesn't melt or get removed, just pushed aside.

City center and mall. The icy appearing sculpture becomes a tree of lights for the holidays.
