Eye

The Eye was actually constructed in the horizontal plane and extended out into the river It was then tilted upright before installing the cars on the wheel.uk_q11_thames.JPG (16597 bytes)

The Eye was constructed for the millennium festivities but actually was not open for the New Year. Safety testing delayed taking passengers until February 2001.
